Liked: Of the advantages, we can only note the closeness to the city center, convenient location. Normal access, there is an opportunity to leave a car. A beautiful rose bush at the entrance.
Disliked: very bad... We came from Calgary to Ottawa for one night on a business trip. We booked a room long before arrival. We could have taken a hostel for 60-80 dollars, but we decided to pay an extra 30 and get a separate room, in the photos on the website the room looked quite decent. but when we arrived we were surprised to find that there was absolutely nothing in the room - no spoon, no plate, I'm not even talking about an iron, kettle, coffee machine or air conditioner, a shared toilet in the hallway, mold on the floor of the toilet. The only microwave is in the hall. In fact, this is not a hotel, but just a tiny room with a small bed and a TV, dim light in the room, old and worn-out furniture everywhere, dust and the feeling that the room had not been cleaned. There was an unpleasant smell of stale air. It was quite cold in the house, maybe 18 degrees, so it was impossible to ventilate, although it was +8 degrees outside. The bed sheets in the room were gray and seemed not fresh. Narrow corridor and inconvenient stairs to the second floor. It would be possible to tolerate these inconveniences if this room cost 40 but not 100 bucks.
