Great family friendly hotel for...

Liked: Great hotel just minutes from Mount Sunapee. Lobby and rooms are well decorated and look recently renovated. Large pool — great for kids.

Great day on the slopes....

Disliked: Booking was confusing. It looked like the only room available was a handicap accessible room, which we didn’t need.

Liked: The location close to skiing.
Disliked: Asked for housekeeping, did not receive it.Returned the second evening around 8:30 and had wanted to play some cards by the fire. The fire was almost out. When we asked about putting a log on the fire we were informed that the fire was closed! When we questioned why the girl at the desk informed us that previous guests had opened the door of the stove and that was not allowed so she had to close it down. There was no one else in the lobby so presuming she had upset these guests enough that they left, we said obviously they have gone so can you reopen the fire, the answer was no. Obviously we left upset too.

Great location, clean and convenient.

Liked: The room was spacious, warm and comfortable. All the essentials covered after a day on the slopes - included hair dryer, microwave and minifridge. There was a tea and coffee station in the corridor for easy access. You could hear people (probably kids) running around upstairs but all was quiet at night, everyone probably exhausted from a day on the mountain. Plenty of parking, and the bus that leaves out front can take you straight up to the mountain.
Disliked: To be very critical, the lighting in the room wasn't very bright, but not problematic.
