Great location but not that...
Liked: Hotel is set at a great location, near the city center and close to the main train station. This makes it easy to connect with airport and surrounding cities near Brussels. Rooms look nice and there is a small but functional Spa area with pool and Sauna. Same accommodate only few people at the time but usually it was not crowded. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: During booking process via this site, my credit card was rejected by the hotel several times despite the fact that credit card is fully working and that the same card was used for the plane ticket using this site on the same day as well. I was asked to make the bank transfer and pay my stay in advance and I did the same. To my surprise, my credit card was then charged about a week later making me pay two times for the same room. It took another 10 days for hotel to return my funds and communication with them was simply disappointing. Furthermore, as payment was not charged by this site directly, they did not help me in any way to get my money returned from the hotel. In the end, everything was sorted but with too much interaction and too much time and effort spent.

NOT 4 STAR. Don’t waste...
Liked: The proximity to the tourist sights, shops, restaurants and bars. The staff are informative but you feel they are aware the hotel is sun standard and over priced.
Disliked: So much! Billed as a 4 star but more like 1 star. Reception area smelt of chlorine. Pool is big enough for 2 people to lie down but any more people would be a crowd. The free tea and coffee bar did not have enough cups. The bedroom was adequate in size but badly laid out. Furnishings gave the impression of a bed sit. The toilet and shower were opposite each other, separated by a not very clean curtain. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower head. Fixtures and fittings were cheap. The room was stuffy so we opened the doors to our balcony, to allow air to circulate. Unfortunately, the soil pipe attached close by on the outside wall, had been damaged and sloppily repaired. A smell of sewage entered the room, necessitating the closing of the doors and a return to stuffiness. The hotel needs a lot of work or to market themselves as a budget accommodation in a good location. The price for one room for one night was €238. It was worth €80 maximum.

Superb
Liked: Lovely hotel, with well-designed furnishings. They provided everything you may need, there is a coffee machine in the room and free tea/coffee in the lobby. The spa pool and sauna was great to relax after a long work day (but be aware that the pool is small, not really suitable to swim in). Great breakfast with plenty of choice.
Disliked: Not sure I share the taste of some of the design choices - the theme of the decor is tribal art, which does not really fit Brussels and is not very culturally sensitive. But in terms of facilities, I can't fault the place. A bit pricey.

Nice stay, but price is...
Liked: Pool and sauna were very nice and clean.
Disliked: Room has cheap furniture and looks a bit dull and cold. Doors to the bathroom and toilet are old and need replacement. Some aspects of the hotel looked like they were refurbished on the cheap.Breakfast was rather basic and missed some essential items like plain orange juice.
