Loved the location of this hotel - there was access to everything right down the street. Room was very clean and perfect to fit two people. I would recommend this hotel to everyone :) !

Nice location unfortunately the lady...
Liked: Location was decent
Disliked: Lady staff member was loud on a night during quite times, she often ignores the door so you can't get in usually on her phone taking selfies. Our room wasn't cleaned when we stayed, nor was the bin emptied. The gentleman that works there was helpful though. Also reporting when stuff didn't work like the air con I was ignored the room got way to hot. Also asking for a hairdryer took hours.

Location, location, location
Liked: Location and price. The housekeeping girl was wonderful.
Disliked: Stairs/no elevator, closet smelled really musty, no breakfast, a/c didn't work, girl at desk seemed confused.

An affordable gem in a...
Liked: The staff was so accommodating and kind and helpful! They really take pride in their facility. I’m used to booking chain hotels, and didn’t know what to expect, because it was such a great value. Was it fancy? No. But it was clean and safe and in a great location with the nicest staff!
Disliked: I couldn’t figure out how to work the TV, but didn’t ask.

Poor service and rude
Liked: 414 called at 4pm the day of our arrival (exactly at check-in time) and told us that because of “plumbing issues” they were moving us from their location in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan to Jamaica, Queens. They told us no refunds were allowed and that the hotel they selected was our only option. The person on the phone at 414 was incredibly rude and threatening. The hotel we were transferred to was inconveniently located and uncomfortable, however, the service was very reasonable. I strongly recommend anyone considering 414 to reconsider

Would stay again
Liked: It was great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is amazing. Linnens were clean and bed and pillows confortables.
Disliked: The rooms could use some renovation and a thorough deep cleaning. Although the linens and towels appeared clean and smelled fresh, there were some noticeable dirty spots, especially on the hallway carpet. That said, it didn’t make our stay uncomfortable, and since the positive aspects outweighed the negatives, I still gave an overall score of 9.

Disliked: Unacceptable – Hotel refuses to issue invoice despite prior agreementI am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown by this hotel. I stayed here as part of a work-related event with two colleagues. The payment was made partly with personal funds and partly with institutional funds. Prior to our arrival, we explicitly informed the hotel that we required a proper invoice for accounting purposes. We were assured this would not be a problem.Now, several weeks later and after multiple written requests, the hotel is refusing to issue the invoice. This is completely unacceptable and has caused serious issues for us, both personally and professionally. It is alarming that a hotel operating internationally ignores basic legal and customer service responsibilities.If you require official documentation for your stay – whether for work or reimbursement – I strongly advise you to book elsewhere. This kind of practice is simply not trustworthy
