Great place to hang your hat when your venue is the Italian Center - very short taxi ride.

Coast Metro Hotel

Liked: Location was central and access to hwys was great. Not so great was how traffic was so bad you couldn't get in and out of the hotel with out being smart and driving some of the backroads. We liked how cozy the place was and the coffee and water machines were great for us. The room was spacious and clean and furnished nicely with an Ikea-like vibe. Bathroom also functional and modern, needed some time to figure out the shower head and tub faucet controls. Overall the finishing on the paint job and some of the fine details were not 5 star so you can see the craftsmanship wasn't stellar but definitely the effort is there to provide modern and esthetically beautiful fixtures and finishes. Beds were sufficiently comfortable. Surprisingly beautiful view of mountains from bedroom and step out balcony was nice.
Disliked: We had water seeping through the floor from underground upwards. Not enough of to make a complaint but something they should look at for future longevity.
