Disliked: No lift but it was not a problem. A little exercise wont hurt

Liked: Great experience in this hotel. The welcome pack for our anniversary was gorgeous with chocolates and a little present. Very clean and comfortable bed.

it does what it says...

Liked: A few days before arrival an email alerted me to the lack of lift facilities. With this knowledge we were able to arrange a room on the 1st floor. ( still stairs, but not as many as potentially). Reception Staff were friendly and welcoming , and looked after our bags well before check-in time, free-ing us up to see the sights of Edinburgh luggage free. The hotel is a short walk from Waverly train station, Princess street , and close to the Playhouse theatre and Cosmo/ street food buffet style eateries. The guest information pack in our room had lots of info about different breakfast options and staff were well versed in local eateries for all meal requirements. Quiet at night with soft door closers on all the doors on our floor. - Its the little things.....
Disliked: cant think of anything . A twin room for my daughter and I for 1 night served its purpose perfectly.
