Step back in time!

Liked: Beautiful historical home in Charleston. Walking distance to food and shops. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Lovely home that much care and detail was put into. Decadent! Great breakfasts! Knowledgeable and accommodating host Ms Vaughan. She even gave us a ride and a mini tour of Charleston!
Disliked: Nothing! This property takes you back in time! Decadent and lovely! But do be aware that there is only a bathtub and no shower. It was nice for us, but may throw some off. Also there are two beautiful kitties that roam the property.

Liked: 22 Charlotte was a beautiful historic home in a quiet neighborhood. They offered onsite parking, and the room was spacious and comfortable with a large private bathroom. We had to leave early, but Vaughn made sure we had a little something to eat before we had to go.

Liked: It was wonderful to stay in an historic Charleston home. The location was excellent- walking distance to all the major tourist areas. Vaughn and Kim looked after us as if we were family guests. Proper Southern hospitality.
Disliked: Nothing. It was great to stay in a period Charleston home.

Liked: I loved the interior - the house is beautiful! It did not feel like a hotel - impersonal - it felt like we were guests at a family member’s house.

Liked: We absolutely loved our visit and experience at 22 Charlotte. The home was lovely and beautifully appointed. Also, the breakfasts were truly delicious. Our hosts Vaughan and Kim were super friendly and kind. We were sad to leave them. We'll be back in the future!

Disliked: I was on time, but unexpected. The Inn was full. I was told my reservation had been cancelled. Neither the staff nor I recall cancelling my reservation. We both think the fault lies with Booking.com

Exceptional

Liked: This is the real deal. I loved the decor, and the bathroom is a dream come true. Vaughan and Kimmie are an entertaining dynamic duo. This is the best of the costal south.
Disliked: Make sure to read thru the reviews. This is a small bnb with traditional mahogany antique furniture. The owner and housekeeper are very involved in the guests lives, and are characters! You need to be looking for this type of experience
