STAY FAR AWAY-NEVER RESERVE HERE-YOUR...

Disliked: I had a confirmed reservation for a king bed room, AND a confirmed special request, at NO ADDiTIONAL COST, for a ground floor room due to a knee disability. Check in clerk REFUSED TO HONOR THE SPECIAL REQUEST without my paying much more money!!!!! Also he was beligerent and nasty angry and didn't tell me he wouldn't honor the confirmations, until after he'd run my credit card!!! When asked for a refund, he absolutely refused!!! So I had no room and he stole my payment. Absolute thievery - what a disappointment that booking.com represents this rip off joint!

Liked: The only thing I liked was the price of the room.
Disliked: The owner was very rude. He was very judgmental. He made me walk across the street to get money out the ATM for a cash deposit that I had know idea about. I reserved and paid for the room a week in advance. Then he said that my check out was 10am. A hour before everyone else. The room was dirty. Stuff on the walls that I hope was ice cream or something. The coffee maker in the room was disgusting. There was tissue paper hanging out the peep hole in the door.

Complete, absolute, Rip Off!

Disliked: I made my reservation 45 minutes prior to checking in. When I got there, the office was locked with an after hours number clearly posted on the door. I called the number multiple times with no answer. After about 30-35 minutes of attempting to make contact, I was forced to go to the Super 8 near by as it was the only hotel in Montrose Colorado that had staff after hours. Then I get an Email the following morning that I am being charged for a room that I didn’t get because they say I canceled or didn’t show up. That’s not only dishonest, it’s stealing! I don’t do business with THIEVES!

A definite yes to stay...

Liked: the quality of the room for the cheap price paid was amazing. I was absolutely very impressed
Disliked: I'm pretty picky but I gotta be honest I had no complaints.

Great place to stay if...

Liked: We had requested a ground floor room, but when we arrived they gave us an upstairs room. They did quickly look up our booking.com sheet and saw that we had requested the ground floor so they did change our room to a ground floor room which we appreciated!!! The room was comfortable and we slept well. The motel was close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park which worked great for us to get sunset and sunrise pictures there.
Disliked: We had a terrible time finding the motel. We called the motel, but could not understand what the person was trying to tell us. We ended up stopping at several other places for directions and finally found someone that could help us. Including a simple map with several road names on it on the booking.com reservation sheet would be much appreciated by people unfamiliar with the area.
