A beautiful historic hotel but...

Liked: The hotel was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff was very nice. The sky view bar on the 5th floor was fun. Loved the two cats who live there.
Disliked: We hoped to use the hot tub, treadmill and sauna, but all of these things were an additional large charge and needed a reservation. Since the weather was cold and rainy with ice, we spent a lot of time in the hotel, so this was very disappointing and somewhat deceitful. The TV was maddening and impossible to watch. Again you had to pay for everything. Even the options we have at home like Prime and ESPN needed a password, and you had to pay $20 to watch a movie. Who carries around their TV passwords? We needed a flashlight to see in the dark closet where you hang your clothes, no light provided. A table, or desk in the room would have been nice. With a pedestal sink in the bath, a small table would have helped.

It was very enjoyable!

Liked: I loved the location and the hotel itself was just amazing! This hotel offers so many things you won’t be bored.
Disliked: The only complaint I really have is that the kitchen was under reconstruction and they were not able to offer many things I wanted. We couldn’t order certain food items and drinks I was told I’d have to wait 30mins for. Which I understand I just wish there was a little notice beforehand!
