Hostel type guesthouse

Liked: Lovely furnishings, comfortable bed and beautiful shower & toilet
Disliked: .Climbing 2 flights of stairsNo heating , radiator didn't work , a small fan heater was provided but the smell was awfulCouldn't sit up in bed because of the slope of the attic roof

Liked: Cosy room & friendly staff.
Disliked: The bed was hard & uncomfortable and the guest house is generally quite noisy - there is no chance of any kind of lie in. I know they need to clean the rooms once they are empty but doors banging & hoovering made it impossible to sleep in

Often in Edinburgh at short...

Liked: Location okay halfway down Leith Walk so 10 minute walk to Princes St.
Disliked: Attic room rather small for two people- private shower room was not en suite. Cleaners started hoovering outside room at 0830 on a Sunday morning so no relaxing lie in. Not cheap.

Walking distance to the center....

Liked: Very accessible and walkable to the center.
Disliked: As soon as I got into the property, I thought I was in the wrong place. There’s clutter everywhere, we can hardly walk towards the room. It was too small for 2 people and there were dusts in the shelves. No check out process. Tried contacting the property but nobody’s picking up the phone or responding to my messages.
