Very good

Liked: Beautiful view from the deck outside, small but comfy room, good homemade breakfast, good location, lovely hosts, best shower pressure ever.
Disliked: Bedroom was quite small, but that's it!

Liked: Single room was lovely, very clean, comfortable & decorated beautifully. Lovely breakfast provided each morning & waking up to the smell of fresh baked bread was very pleasant.

Liked: The breakfast was wonderful and it was so good just getting up and sitting down to a cooked breakfast. It made the erst of the day so much better. The house was well laid out and clean and very comfortable. The hosts were wonderful.
Disliked: I can't remember if the advert shows that there is a set of stairs to get to the house. Not a problem for most people but good for people to know so if they can't do stairs they know to go elsewhere.

Liked: Brad and Fujiko were terrific hosts, and 16 Havelock was a lovely home away from home while visiting family in New Plymouth. Breakfast was delicious, with Brad baking fresh bread and cooking eggs from their backyard chickens each morning. It was also a nice time to meet the various other guests. I stayed in a single room, which was perfect for a solo traveller. A highlight was the spectacular views of Mt Taranaki and the ocean from the lounge room and deck.

Would highly recommend New Plymouth...

Liked: Perfectly located with glorious views to Mt Taranaki. Short trip into town, close to beaches and walks. We couldn’t have asked for more at the end of our North Island trip. Brad was an excellent host with a down to earth, live and let live nature. We totally enjoyed our stay and were kind of sad to leave in the end!!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!!
